The annual Vans Warped Tour continues to be one of summer’s top concert festivals. With nine stages and a diverse lineup of bands covering every genre of music from rock, punk, pop, indie and alternative to metalcore, hardcore, screamo and emo, there was truly something for everyone. There was even something for fans of ska, dub step and electronica.
It was hot, bright and sunny when the insanity plugged in and played the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach. But this is Florida in July — and that means there’s a better than average chance Mother Nature will show up and be a wet bitchy mother. True to form, she parted the skies with a clap of thunder and rained down on the thunderous applause fans were showering on Crossfaith, New Years Day, Like Moths to Flames, The Black Dahlia Murder, Texas in July, August Burns Red, Oh Sleeper and The Wonder Years.
Despite a 2.5-hour rain delay, nearly every fan braved the elements and waited for the all clear sign. When the music resumed, concert goers were treated to incredible performances by blessthefall, Chiodos, Reel Big Fish, Bring Me the Horizon, Billy Talent, Motion City Soundtrack, We Came as Romans, Sleeping with Sirens, Echosmith, The Used, Memphis May Fire and Black Veil Brides.

Glad you stuck it out. Makes me feel like I kind of got to see the rest of the concert. My girlfriend is too high maintenance to wait around in the rain.
