Old friends, hooligans and the rejected all came out to see Rancid play America’s Backyard at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Celebrating 20 years of pure punk mayhem, Tim Armstrong and the rest of the band hit the stage and killed it with a concert that included more than 25 songs. Rancid’s energy was raw, electrifying and contagious, sending the already riled up fans into a further frenzy. This was not the kind of live music event where people came just to stand in the back of the venue and act like wallflowers. The crowd came to get hot, sweaty, nasty and repugnant. They came to get Rancid.
