Morbid Angel took the fans at the Culture Room back to 1993 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Covenant, and play the album in its entirety. Ranked as one of the top-selling death metal bands of all time, the group performed a dark and chaotic set, filled with complex riffs, bone-jarring beats and foreboding lyrics. Lead singer/bassist David Vincent riled up the crowd with his commanding stage presence and penetrating vocals while guitar virtuoso Trey Azagthoth sent his six-string screaming across the venue. The energy at this concert was electrifying — exactly what you’d expect from a dark night with Morbid Angel.
