Kobra and the Lotus struck the Culture Room stage with an aggressive set of hard-rocking tunes and heavy melodies. Everything about this concert was classic metal. Dual guitars wailed with screaming riffs. Bass thumps and drum beats jarred bones loose. And Kobra Paige’s vocals carried ample amounts of venomous potency. Those unfamiliar with this quintet from Canada should make plans to see them in concert. Metalheads already familiar with Kobra and the Lotus know that their “50 Shades of Evil” put them in league with the heavy metal gods that came before them.
Kobra and the Lotus stole the show. They were my favorite act of the night. Rockin’ Pictures!!!
