George Thorogood and the Destroyers dealt out a heavy dose of live music inside the Pavilion at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. The legendary guitar player may like to drink alone, but he loves to play in front of an audience. And he made sure everyone in attendance had a winning experience.
No matter how many years have passed, George Thorogood is still the master of rough, bluesy rock driven tunes. His signature distortion sound and growling voice are what classic rock fans come to hear. Though not one for solos, he did get down with some bodacious boogie riffs that showcased his guitar playing. And backed by the Destroyers, the songs had an enduring classic rock sound.
Early on, the question was asked: who do you love? The answer was resounding — George Thorogood. And that feeling stayed with those in the venue until the last note was played and out the door he went.
