RockFest 80s is heading to Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida for two big days of rock and roll on April 2 & 3, 2016. Sponsored by Big 105.9’s Paul and Young, this festival promises to deliver amped-up doses of headbanging mayhem courtesy of the era’s biggest hairbands and metal masters.
Fans of Poison, Bad Company, KISS, Skid Row and The Babys can expect to hear songs that dominated the FM airwaves played by the musicians responsible for putting arena rock on the musical map. Directions
The park is located North of State Road 84 just west of the Sawgrass Expressway. FROM I-75 South: Take Exit 8 (Arvida Parkway). Make a right at the first light, which is Weston Road. Stay on Weston and continue for about 2 1/2 miles North and it will lead you directly into the park. FROM I-95/Turnpike/US 1: Take 595 West (Exit 1-SR 84/SW 136th Avenue). Go through light at 136th Avenue. Continue to Weston Road and make a right and it will lead directly into the park.
